Job Description

    Hi,Position: Branch ManagerLocation: Mumbai, Pune,Kolhapur, Noida FaridabadIndustry: Life Insurance (Agency Channel)Experience: 7-8 Years (Agency Channel)Age: Preferably under 40 (Exceptions for candidates with exceptional stability)Job Summary:The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of Front Line Sales Managers and Commission-based Agents. The key focus is to achieve branch-level insurance sales targets and ensure that agents are properly licensed to sell insurance by passing the IRDA exam.Key Responsibilities:
    • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Front Line Sales Managers and Agents.
    • Sales Target Achievement: Drive the branch to meet or exceed insurance sales targets.
    • Agent Licensing: Ensure agents are properly licensed by overseeing the IRDA exam process.
    • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to boost sales productivity and market penetration.
    • Training & Support: Provide mentoring, training, and support to the sales staff to enhance performance.
    • Performance Tracking: Track sales metrics and report branch performance regularly.
    • Compliance: Ensure branch activities adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Work Environment: Foster a positive, supportive, and productive work environment.
    Qualifications:
    • Education: Any Graduate.
    • Industry Requirement: Candidates must currently be working in Life Insurance, specifically in the Agency Channel. Candidates from Health or General Insurance, or Brokers, will not be considered.
    • Channel Experience: At least 7-8 years of experience in the Agency Channel. Candidates from other channels (Direct, Banca, etc.) will not be considered.
    • Team Handling: Minimum 2 years of experience managing an on-roll team (not advisors or commission-based teams).
    Prerequisites:
    1. Job Stability:
      • Candidates must have been stable in their current company for at least 2 years.
      • If not, they should have a history of stability in their previous company (more than 4-5 years).
    2. Company-Specific Experience:
      • For candidates from ICICI Prudential (Ipru), ensure they have experience specifically in the Agency Channel.
      • For candidates from Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, verify that their Branch Manager role pertains to the Agency Channel, not the Direct channel.
    3. Location Requirements:
      • Candidates must be local and able to reach the office within 30 minutes.
      • Candidates with a permanent home in the desired location but posted elsewhere can be considered if they have previously worked in the location within the Life Insurance Agency Channel.
    Age Requirement:
    • Preference for candidates under 40 years of age. However, candidates with exceptional job stability (more than 5 years in one company) can still be considered.
