Job Description

The Business Process Senior Manager based in Talegaon, Pune will be responsible for overseeing the business processes related to the configuration solution for Emersons Isolation Valves (ISV) Business unit on a global scale. Your role will involve creating, improving, standardizing, testing, and monitoring the business processes. You will provide strategic direction for ISVs Configurators, gather user and SBU input for further enhancements, prioritize enhancements and new developments, and organize their release. Additionally, you will develop a plan and strategy to transition the configurators from Oracle OCD to Configit. You will collaborate with ISVs Business Excellence, Global Pricing, and Global Data teams to facilitate the global rollout of ISVs CPQ solution and provide guidance to the configurator team in India.Your responsibilities in this role will include providing strategic and technical direction for the Product Configurators of the Isolation Valve Business Units, collecting and prioritizing user feedback for continuous improvement, managing the configurator development and enhancement roadmap, leading the rollout of configurators globally as part of the CPQ transformation, transitioning the configurators programming platform to Configit, ensuring collaboration between functions for continuous improvement, directing and prioritizing the configuration development teams work, and managing training decks and functional documentation for configurators.To excel in this role, you should have a BA/BS or equivalent work experience, with degrees in Engineering or Information Technology preferred. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience supervising employees and 10 years of experience in developing and improving business processes in conjunction with IT solutions for a global user base. Familiarity with Product Configuration technology, specifically Configit or Oracle OCD, and engineering product structure is required. You should have demonstrated success in handling time-sensitive issues in a complex business environment, managing multiple projects to completion, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel as needed (up to 20%).Preferred qualifications include strong presentation skills at various organizational levels, a commitment to excellence, and 2-4 years of industry experience leading change with business processes.At Emerson, we foster a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
