Job Description

    Job DescriptionProfile Architect : Integration Responsibilities: * Lead and oversee the software integration and configuration activities for Android builds, ensuring the successful integration of various software components. * Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements, identify dependencies, and plan integration activities accordingly. * Establish and maintain effective version control practices using Git and Gerrit, ensuring proper branch management and code review processes. * Develop and maintain the build and release configuration for Android software, including build scripts, environment setup, and dependency management. * Implement and manage Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Testing (CT) practices to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and release engineers, to resolve integration issues and ensure timely software deliveries. * Monitor and analyze. build metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve build and integration efficiency. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices for software integration and configuration. * Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and industry trends related to software integration, configuration management, and CI/CT. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, communicate project status, and address any integration-related concerns. Requirements: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus. * Minimum 12 years work experience in build and integration. * Proven experience in software integration and configuration management, preferably for Android builds. * Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git and code review tools like Gerrit. * Good understanding of branching strategies and experience in managing complex code repositories with multiple branches. * Proficiency in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Testing (CT) practices, including tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or similar. * Experience in setting up and maintaining build systems, build scripts, and dependency management for Android software. * Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently. * Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. * Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Python is desirable. * Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus,
