Job Description

Our Analyst and Associate Interns work closely with the senior sector leads and senior bankers to gain practical exposure to the Investment Banking industry such that it becomes valuable to candidates interested in pursuing a career in Investment Banking or Equity Research with a focus on the TMT industry. Through a blend of training, mentoring and stretch learning across transaction support functions, our interns build valuable industry experience which helps build a solid foundation for Pre-Placement Offers with the firm or building a solid Global Investment Banking career.The firm believes in providing appropriate opportunities for getting involved with key aspects of transaction advisory services, getting exposure to key external participants in the Investment Banking ecosystem, and building valuable industry connections and professional networks over the longer term.Designation: Corporate Internship (6 months) - Investment Banking and Financial Due Diligence TMT Sector (Multiple positions)Selected interns day-to-day responsibilities include: Work with the senior team towards supporting specific industry research or financial analysis, due diligence or financial modelling related assignments for investment banking transactions in the Technology sector Research new industry/markets/ecosystems, build one-pager profiles on companies within a certain area of interest or technology sub-sector Support with industry research towards putting together sector reports/insights/whitepapers, SWOT analysis, competitive landscapes, etc. Conduct research based on the specific technology sector and conduct financial analysis/market analysis Support with follow-ups and follow-throughs with different stakeholders/decision-makers on behalf of the senior team and set up meetings as maybe requiredKey Requirements:Candidates shall meet the following requirements to be eligible Have relevant work experience within investment banking / Equity Research/ Venture Capital/Management Consulting with some exposure to Technology industry Preferably, you should be a 2019 Graduate or Graduate in 2020(and currently enrolled in CFA/CA program with plans to pursue a top tier- MBA program subsequently Must be available to work full time or (minimum 35 hours/week) immediately On an exceptional basis, CA Inter Candidates are eligible to apply, if you meet all other criteria Excellent Analytical, Presentation skills with some experience of building investor related collateral Financial snapshots, Pitch books, IMs, etc.What we look for in candidates:Successful interns are go-getters, highly motivated, hardworking and goal-oriented.
