Data Governance Developer - Collibra

Job Description

Your role:As the Data Governance IT Delivery Lead at UBS GROUP TECHNOLOGY, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful development and delivery of a division-wide Data Governance technology framework. You will collaborate with the Asset Management Chief Data Offices Data Governance Team to build a strategic Data Governance technology solution using Collibra and integrate this solution with key data sources. Your key focus areas will include:- Collaborating with data governance leads within the AM Chief Data Office to gather data governance requirements and ensure their successful delivery through technology solutions.- Managing the development of custom capabilities & workflows within the AM strategic data governance solution Collibra based on governance requirements.- Enabling complex integrations between Collibra and various data sources/systems throughout the division.- Assisting in managing vendor relationships, from contract negotiations to release management, to ensure cost and operational risk management.- Collaborating with relevant shared services functions to ensure timely completion of the planned book of work.- Ensuring security, scalability, and business continuity of the data infrastructure.Your team:You will be working in the Data Governance IT team in Pune, Weekhawken, NJ & New York City, alongside a lead developer & business analyst. The team operates in an agile/scrum format and is looking forward to having you join and extend the approach.Your expertise:You should have:- 8 years of diverse experience in designing and managing innovative solutions in asset management or financial services domain.- Experience and knowledge of Collibra implementation, configuration, APIs, etc.- Experience with enterprise integration solutions such as MuleSoft, JBoss, Spring, etc.- Knowledge of Groovy scripting and Activiti BPMN 2.0 engine is a plus.- Experience in Java/J2EE, web service integration, Python, RDBMS, data quality, data profiling, data management standards, and data governance practices.- Proven experience in agile development methodology.About us:UBS is the worlds largest and only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions.
