Job Description

    Role -Data ModelerJob Details
    • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and mathematical concepts such as calculus and linear algebra. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to design and implement complex data models, contributing significantly to our data warehousing and data mart initiatives.Responsibilities:
      • Design, develop, and implement data models for enterprise-level data warehousing solutions, including the use of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault techniques.
      • Work with a range of databases such as DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server to produce logical and physical data models.
      • Utilize data modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio, and MySQL Workbench to create and optimize data models.
      • Apply advanced analytical and data manipulation techniques using tools such as PL/SQL, PySpark, Hive, Impala, and other scripting languages.
      • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data architecture and solutions.
      • Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) following Agile methodologies including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
      • Lead the conceptual modeling process by visualizing solutions and offering innovative approaches to complex data problems.
      • Manage and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of data models across multiple platforms.
      • Present data-driven insights and reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making.
      • Ensure alignment with data governance and quality standards across all data models and systems.
      Qualifications:
      • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, calculus, and linear algebra.
      • Proven experience in data warehousing concepts such as Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault for data marts.
      • Expertise in data modeling software such as Erwin, ER Studio, and MySQL Workbench for creating logical and physical data models.
      • Hands-on experience with enterprise databases including DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
      • Proficient in using tools and techniques for data analysis, manipulation, and presentation (e.g., PL/SQL, PySpark, Hive, Impala).
      • Solid experience working within an Agile environment, familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
      • Ability to conceptualize complex data structures and provide clear, actionable solutions.
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
      Preferred Skills:
      • Experience with advanced machine learning techniques and modeling.
      • Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions and Big Data technologies.
      • Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns such as Data Lakes and Real-Time Data Processing.
