Design Lead - Checker

Job Description

Experience: 6 years for Degree Holders and 15 years for Diploma HoldersKey skill-based responsibilities:
• Understanding discipline specific design requirements and delivering the 2D drawings and 3D models for multiple projects - by guiding a team of 3-4 Assistant Design Leads, ensuring quality and timeline
• Ensuring the project delivery through individual contribution as well as reviewing the deliverables prepared by team members (20-25 people, including Asst. Design Leads)
• Delivering 2D drawings (self and team) through hands on experience in working o AUTOCAD /Plant 3D MicroStation / Auto plant o AVEVA P&ID / AVEVA Diagram / SP PID / CADMATIC P&ID / COMOS P&ID o REVIT-2D o SPI / SPEL
• Delivering 3D models (self and team) through hands on experience in working with any of the below mentioned 3D tools. o AUTOCAD 3D / PLANT 3D o Auto Plant o PDMS/ E3D / SP3D / Cardworks / CADMATIC o REVIT-3D o TEKLA o Navisworks / Smart plant review (SPR)
• Working on process compliance and improvements weekly resource allocation, in process quality checks, timeline adherence, deliverable tracking/monitoring and other quality improvement activities.
• Handling project planning and management activities
• Exploring options for re-use and automation and implementing in the work area
• Identifying training needs of the team members and facilitating training on regular basis
• Driving workflow through Wrench platform with good understanding of design workflow
• Providing timely input for weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports
• Driving new initiatives and ensuring implementation within team.
