Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Work with Delivery teams and QA teams to deploy and troubleshoot web applications.
  • Read and understand the release notes and follow the deployment instructions precisely to ensure zero defects in the deployments.
  • Create and interpret automation scripts for cloud-based CICD pipeline to deploy/upgrade/patch web applications.
  • Create, modify and deploy configuration files required to customize/configure the web application.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner.
  • Act as the primary contact for deployment-related inquiries and issues.
  • Deploy applications in several environments like Prod, Demo, UAT, etc, and keeps track of the version history and bugs reported in each version.
  • Recommend process improvements to ensure deployment accuracy and reliability.

Technical/Domain Skills:
  • A suitable candidate would be a DevOps Analyst with very good programming/scripting knowledge.
  • Recommended to have prior experience with the CICD pipeline using Jenkins and Kubernetes.
  • An added advantage to possess knowledge of automation using pipeline scripts in Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP/AWS and various cloud services. Familiar with version control and source control systems like GIT/ GITLAB etc.
  • Good understanding of microservices-based architecture and containerization of services using
  • images.
  • Strong grasp of SQL scripts and anyone RDBMS platforms like MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • An added advantage to possess experience with NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, BigTable, etc.
  • Possess an understanding of networking in cloud environments.
  • Extremely customer-focused, can multi-task, and utilizes both written & verbal communication skills to help our diverse range of customers to resolve their technical issues.

Education (Required):
  • Preferred Bachelors in Engineering in Computers/Information Technology
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Sciences / Computer Applications
Work Experience (Required):
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in deploying on cloud infrastructure.
