The role involves the design and development of commercial vehicle electric powertrains, including motors, inverters, reducers, and e-axles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electric vehicle (EV) experience and the technical expertise needed to support prototype and validation teams, suppliers, and manufacturing units.The position requires strong analytical skills to perform system-level analysis, root cause investigations, and interface issue resolution. The engineer will also lead design reviews, define component specifications, and recommend improvements to enhance product performance and reduce costs.Key Responsibilities
    • Design and develop electric powertrain components including motors, inverters, reducers, and e-axles.
    • Support prototype and validation teams with technical inputs and documentation.
    • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to define, refine, and validate component specifications.
    • Conduct system analysis and root cause investigations for interface and performance-related issues.
    • Coordinate and lead design reviews; suggest improvements for product performance and cost reduction.
    • Ensure designs meet functional, safety, and durability requirements for commercial vehicle EV applications.
