    HIRING | ENGINEERING MANAGER DATA ENGINEERINGLocation: Pune, Maharashtra Work Mode: Hybrid Experience: 10 to 15 YearsWe are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager Data Engineering to lead cross-functional data engineering teams and drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms.ROLE OVERVIEWThis is a 50-50 blend of technical leadership and delivery management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern data engineering, strong hands-on Databricks experience, proven people leadership, and the ability to manage multiple engineering squads and end-to-end delivery.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms using Databricks. Define technical architecture, coding standards, engineering practices, and solution design. Drive adoption of Medallion Architecture, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and modern data engineering patterns. Provide technical guidance on complex data engineering challenges and performance optimization. Lead 2 squads with 20 members and ensure delivery excellence. Own the complete delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering through production deployment and post-go-live support. Manage project planning, estimation, resource allocation, timelines, budgeting, and costing. Drive Agile sprint planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and continuous improvement. Lead, mentor, and develop Data Engineers and Technical Leads. Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, hiring, and capability-building initiatives. Ensure platform reliability, production readiness, monitoring, observability, and incident resolution.
