As an Environmental Health and Safety Manager oversees workplace policies and programs to protect employee health, ensure environmental compliance, and minimize operational risk. To bridge the gap between regulatory laws and daily floor or site operations, managing safety audits, training, and incident responses.Core Responsibilities:Compliance: Track and apply local, state, and national environmental and safety laws to maintain business compliance.Risk Mitigation: Lead routine workplace inspections, hazard identification, and safety audits.Incident Management: Investigate accidents, injuries, or near misses, discover root causes, and enforce corrective actions.Create and run staff safety onboarding, emergency response drills, and ongoing protection programs.Documentation: Keep accurate logs of safety data sheets, environmental waste disposal, and injury records.
