    JOB OFFER BY CHAMPION SEALS- Factory Manager Kanhe Factory, Pune HR: hidden_mobilePosition: Factory ManagerLocation: Kanhe Factory, Pune (Approx. 43 km from Pune City)The role is based at the Gasket Sheet production unit and is responsible for overall factory administration, operational discipline, and cross-functional execution.Qualification Graduate in Engineering, Science, or any recognized discipline. Additional qualifications in Production, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management will be an added advantage.Experience Minimum 5 years experience as a Factory Manager or in a senior manufacturing leadership role. Experience leading operations in a manufacturing organization with turnover of INR 100 to 350 crores. Exposure to industrial products, engineering products, rubber, or paper manufacturing.Role OverviewThe Factory Manager will lead overall manufacturing operations, FACTORY ADMINISTRATION, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and profitable performance across the facility.The role covers production, quality, maintenance, planning, statutory compliance, factory administration, industrial relations, and continuous improvement, with accountability for timely delivery of quality products.Reporting to the Board of Directors.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Operations Lead and manage all factory operations to achieve production, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other manufacturing resources. Develop and implement production plans to meet customer delivery schedules. Improve operational efficiency, productivity, and manufacturing cost performance through structured improvement initiatives. Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO standards.Production Planning & Coordination Coordinate closely with Sales, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch, Quality, Maintenance, and Finance for seamless business operations. Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of manufacturing plans. Resolve operational bottlenecks to achieve committed customer deliveries.Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure consistent adherence to established quality systems and standards. Lead initiatives for process improvement, waste reduction, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization.Maintenance & Engineering Ensure effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Maximize equipment availability, machine reliability, and plant uptime. Monitor utilities and infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted production.Statutory Compliance & Legal Ensure complete compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, including:o Factories Acto Labor Lawso Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB)o PESOo Boiler Regulationso Fire & Safety Regulationso Environmental Regulationso Occupational Health & Safety requirementso Legal matters of the factory Coordinate inspections, renewals, licenses, audits, and statutory filings with government authorities. Ensure that all factory records, registers, licenses, and statutory documentation remain current and complete.Safety, Administration & Industrial Relations Foster a strong culture of safety, discipline, and compliance across the factory. Ensure implementation of all safety procedures and conduct regular safety audits and training. Oversee factory administration, security, housekeeping, employee welfare, and infrastructure management. Maintain healthy industrial relations and proactively resolve employee issues. Develop and mentor supervisors and employees to improve capability and performance.Reporting & Performance Management Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to:o Productiono Qualityo Productivityo Rejectionso Machine Utilizationo Downtimeo Costo Delivery Performanceo Safety Prepare and present periodic MIS reports to the Board of Directors. Recommend and implement strategies for improving factory performance and profitability.Desired Profile Strong leadership and team management abilities with the capability to lead a multi-functional manufacturing workforce. Excellent understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality systems, maintenance, and factory administration. Thorough knowledge of statutory compliance, labor laws, industrial safety, environmental regulations, and factory legal requirements. Proven track record of improving productivity, reducing manufacturing costs, and driving operational excellence. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
