Job Description

    • Job DescriptionDevelop, implement and maintain project accounting systems to ensure accurate cost accounting and reporting in line with US GAAP and internal policies and proceduresMonitor the activities of accounting standard setting bodies , SEC, FASB, IASB, AICPA, and EITF and prepare operational/financial impact assessments of proposed and adopted accounting/SEC standardsWork closely with the Corporate Accounting department to clear technical matters, report quarterly accounting updates, prepare representation lettersSupport the finance and treasury teams with accounting practices and cash flow tasksOversee the general accounting team by owning and managing the month and quarter-end close process for our Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce business for each country in which we operateResearch and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for technical mattersSupport the finance and treasury teams with accounting practices and cash flow tasks, including review of cash flowsProvide technical U.S. GAAP expertise and guidance to the organization keeping abreast of new and updated accounting pronouncementsUpdate and coordinate feedback from others within the organization related to Finance and Accounting policiesBegin implementation of new U.S. GAAP accounting pronouncements related to Revenue Recognition and Leases
