Job Description

    As a Financial Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, implementing financial policies and procedures, and providing guidance and support to the finance team. Your expertise in financial analysis and forecasting will contribute to the overall success and stability of the company.Financial Supervisor Responsibilities
    1. Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and cash flow management.
    2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.
    3. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance.
    4. Analyze financial data and prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for senior management.
    5. Monitor and analyze variances between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted amounts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    6. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are completed accurately and on time.
    7. Coordinate and assist with external audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements.
    8. Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
    9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, evaluate the financial feasibility of projects, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
    10. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management, and propose and implement improvements to enhance financial processes and controls.
    Financial Supervisor Required Skills
    1. Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
    2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw accurate conclusions.
    3. Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and financial modelling software.
    4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
    5. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.
    2. Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
    3. In-depth knowledge of financial reporting practices, financial analysis techniques, and accounting principles.
    4. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
    5. Proficiency in using financial software systems and tools.
    6. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and financial laws and regulations.
    7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    9. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
    10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
