What you will be doing In this Senior Lead Engineer role, - Focus is on being a strong technology leader, thinking and responding to changes, owning the product development, management and leading the teams technically for one of the top competitive product in Investment Accounting across the globe.- It translates to being engaged in several projects with focus on timely delivery, quality, productivity.- For the right candidate, it could translate in becoming Development Manager role in near term.- Good hands on technically on Java/JEE/Spring/Struts/HTML5/Angular/Oracle/REST Service/Camel routes.- Domain Knowledge on Investment Accounting would be an added advantage. What you bring: Knowledge / Experience
• Lead and Support IRA product from maintenance/enhancements, design to deployment as Java Technical lead
• Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems / solutions.
• Participate, contribute, assimilate, and represent opinion on changes, enhancements and design being done to the project / product
• Evaluates and recommend solutions, alternative frameworks, products / solutions available to current and future releases of product
• Will be required to create and maintain technical and process documentation
• Innovate in current product, defining new architecture, create roadmap for next 3-5 years considering technology change and business trends
• Willingness to do people management for 6-8 Senior Developers when required in team.
Essential Skills:
• Should have strong knowledge in OOPs, Core java, J2EE with hands-on experience of 9 years or more.
• Should be strong in java & j2ee design patterns, should have applied quite a few of them in big projects to solve real life software problems.
• Skills in UML in communicating design, architecture of systems would be desirable.
• Should have very up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies, technology trends, third party APIs, components, free software solutions for certain software problems, etc.
• Expertise in J2EE, Struts, Spring, JMS, Core java.
• Knowledge of HTML5, AngularJS, jQuery, REST web services is must.
• Should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

• Should have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work with multiple teams.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent
