Job descriptionRole & responsibilitiesProfileHe should be an engineer- B. Tech Food Tech/Mechanical/ MBA in operations with at least 14 years of work experience, with significant and relevant experience in plant based roles, with a Food/FMCG background. He will have excellent team building and management skills, and an experience of working with international stakeholders. He will also have excellent communication and inter-personal skills so that you can act as an extension of the brand itself. He should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and resolve any issues that may derail production. He should have exceptional communication, management, and leadership skills to ensure that factory operations run smoothly.
• Taking overall operation management responsibility including production management, material planning, inventory control, and quality process.
• Meeting the strategic objectives of the corporation and the targeted revenue growth Managing product development and improvement for the product
• Ensuring human capital is effectively deployed while leading and mentoring the local key management team.
• Managing timelines and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes.
• Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
• Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues.
• He should be able to manage audits related to factory, system and products.
• Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
• Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.
• Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets
• Hire and train and supervise employees involved in operation process.
• Create schedules, assign tasks and coordinate manufacturing activities.
• Coordinate with SCM and Sales team to deliver as per the requirement of Factory.
• Look after all the legal activities related to factory and product.
• Installation of new projects to match with plant production requirements.
• Control of cost of operations by minimizing the inputs and maximizing the outputs.
