Job Description

BNY Mellon are looking for a Innovation and Transformation Program Manager to join our Operations Utilities function for India operation, based in Pune.You will play a key part in driving innovation, business process re-engineering and digitization agenda for India and global operations utility teams.Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage and collaborate with operation stakeholders and leadership team locally and globally
  • Lead process and technology architecture design workshops for short and long term.
  • Drive efficiency / cost saves agenda for India through the use of self-service tools.[
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Pro-actively identify opportunities for standardization, simplification and automation of global processes while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate localization. Think, design and build use case/business case for end to end process & technology transformation for the group
  • Program and Risk Management: Develop and maintain project plans, manage project milestones, schedules and status reporting; collaborating effectively across stakeholders to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables. Define, manage and establish path to green actions to address risks, issues and dependencies. Lead financial benefit tracking and cost benefit analysis for all projects / ideas
  • Build dashboards and lead governance for India efficiency program
  • Design and implement staff engagement and incentive framework
  • Learn, advocate, promote & implement automation/digitization tools
  • Conduct staff workshops on process improvement, digital and innovation skill sets
Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Having 13+ years of work ex
  • Certified Lean Six sigma or PMP. Exposure to Agile/Lean/Kaizen/Scrum/TRIZ/Lateral thinking
  • Deep process improvement and project management experience
  • Must be from BFS industry, having a clear understanding of the BNYM s business
  • Deep understanding of recent technology trends, technology deployment experience
  • Must possess very strong people skills and communication skills
  • Data analytics/ML skills desired but not mandatory
  • Strong MS office and SharePoint skills
  • MS 365 tool skill desired
  • Technology exposure desired/willingness to learn new technology/exposure to SDLC
  • Added advantage if have experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to define and apply logical approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-starter.
  • Good team-player with dedication to ongoing learning and sharing
  • Strong communication skills (Written/Verbal).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • One or no direct reports.
