Job Description

1. ABOUT ROLE:
   • To raise and release purchase requisitions to Purchasing base on released BOM in SAP, or MTO structures materials.
   • To provide effective support to Projects by monitoring and controlling all materials progress from purchase requisitions till deliveries to production floor.
   • Operate and control the utilization of the MRP system to ensure supply and demand alignment for make and buy items.
   • To do weekly Order Progress Report (OPR), analyze the information, clarify on unclear material progress and follow-up with relevant departments to ensure Engineering Release on-time, PO is placed on time and materials arrive on time.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES / WHAT WE EXPECT:
   • Produce and maintain an integrated material and production plan around the key drivers of materials, resource and capacity constraints across the relevant product streams
   • To raise and release purchase requisitions to Purchasing base on released BOM in SAP, or MTO structures materials.
   • To provide effective support to Projects by monitoring and controlling all materials progress from purchase requisitions till deliveries to production floor.
   • Schedule & execute production order and prepare work pack for kitting and manufacturing.
   • Maintain progress of planned order, purchase requisition and production orders in SAP by rescheduling and report any slippages with impact on overall plan.
   • Responsible for on-time delivery for production orders, secure material availability, at release of Production order.
   • Keep full overview of status and progress of materials & manufacturing and provide status to the project organization.
   • To manage in process sub-contractor activities in term of prioritization and progress.
   • Coordinate engineering change notifications (OCM/YA) for in house builds as per SAP workflow
   • Shipping to organize shipments of goods with logistic department.
   • Produce, analyze and advise on SAP-generated reports as required

   • Report potential major capacity constraints requiring management decision.
   • Establish predictability in SAP for relevant MRP data / dates
   • To notify manufacturing on priorities and aligned with slot plan
   • Update and provide input to MOR report and project meetings (KPIs & PIs, workload and capacity).
   • Provide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processes.
   • As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill & responsibility when required.
   • To drive and maintain optimally efficient inventory of production materials balancing schedule risks with cash flow for relevant product streams / portfolio
   • Day to day communication and alignment with stakeholders of the relevant portfolio to secure adherence to the plan.
   • Personally responsible for the quality of their work, whilst making a positive contribution to the quality of both the department and the work carried out by their colleagues.

1. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Degree in Business, Economics, Manufacturing or Engineering discipline Any specialization in material management will be considered added advantage
Functional Skills / Key competencies
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management process Good knowledge of SAP, MS Excel Analytical skills Interpersonal and coordination skills Good Communication skills- verbal and written Self-motivated and ability to work in teams.
Relevant and total years of Experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in material planning in a relevant industry like Engineering projects, EPC, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Automobile Knowledge of oil & gas industry or subsea industry etc will be added advantage.
