Job Description

  • Technical owner for Architecting the Infrastructure Automation roadmap, architecture, design & solutions
  • Experience with Infrastructure Automation tools like Salt Stack, Stack Storm, HPOO, Service Now, Moogsoft, Rundeck, Splunk
  • Experience with coding in Python
  • Expertise in IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, software architecture design
  • Responsible for crafting strategy, enabling automation and technical blueprint for the on prem / cloud infrastructure and guide teams for execution
  • Study, Plan, Design System and Security Architecture for New. Re-architecture of existing Application / Infrastructure with clear blueprint
  • Prepare and own architecture documents including HLD LLD
  • Proven experience in engineering and cloud architecture design
  • Perform technology review and validation including Application Design Review, Code Review (for design), Infrastructure Review and Hosting Review to enable optimized performance
  • Excellent Knowledge in cloud technologies: AWS, Azure & GCP
  • CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
  • Develop highly complex solutions that exemplify quality optimization in regard to reliability, availability, scalability, manageability, flexibility, usability /reusability with high performance
  • Understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity
  • Passionate about making systems more efficient, more reliable and more secure
  • Assist in the development of knowledge management systems
  • Foresee and highlight the technology risks and provide mitigation plans in advance
  • Undertake POCs for complex technical scenarios
  • Closely liaise with Technical Architect, IT and Security Teams for solution design
  • Closely liaise with the Leads, Developers/Modelers for solution understanding
  • In-depth understanding of coding languages (JavaScript, SQL, Python, etc).
  • Experience in AWS services and resources like EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, Auto scaling, RDS, SNS, IAM, EBS, ACL
  • Experience in cloud Formation scripts, Configuration and deployment using Rundeck tool
  • In-depth knowledge on Project code handling using Gitlab version control and CICD using tools like Jenkins or other equivalent tools
Other Activities
  • Research and leverage upcoming / new features in the Automation Infrastructure
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Manage relationships with the technology divisions of Automation tool partners
  • Good oral & written communication skills
Technical experience Required:
  • 12-16 years of industry experience
  • Min 5 years of working experience as an Engineering / Infrastructure manager
  • Must have exposure to running products in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS ecosystem, infrastructure automation and monitoring tools
  • Foundational knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, Cloud security, Microservices etc.
  • Exposure to Public And/or Private cloud environments for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS applications.
  • Proficient in Linux, Windows, Networking, GCP, monitoring, Devops, SRE,CI/CD

  • Proven expertise in multiple technologies
  • Worked in multiple large projects
