Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greetings from TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited!We are hiring for Legal Claim profile inPune location.Education:Must possess a degree in law.Experience:Min 10 Years.Band: 3-4Location: Pune.Role Description:To overall lead the legal / BI team and ensure & monitor:Registration / Handling of Claims.
    • Prompt Registration and updating of progress of all bodily Injury / legal claims in the System.
    • File Maintenance and Documentation
    • Assign investigator
    • Assign advocates
    • Manage reserve and updation of reserves promptly.
    • Housekeeping
    Claims Review & Processing
    • Good drafting and analytical skills.
    • Ensure monthly Review of Claims is done by Examiner
    • Study the petitions, documents submitted by the claimant records and making necessary verifications and investigations.
    • Regular liaison with advocates and get updated on cases.
    • Watch for companys interest in recovery & take necessary means & measures to secure it.
    • Ensure Claims Processing / satisfaction of award/ filing of appeal is done within the TAT set by Company
    Settlement of Claim
    • Preparation / Recommendation by way of preparation of claim note
    • Posting of payment in the system
    • Check & approve claims under maker & checker concept
    • Effective handling of claims meant for contest.
    MIS/ Reports
    • Review the outstanding reserves regularly and updating them.
    • Plan report requirements to monitor team & department performance
    • Timely submission of reports to senior management.
    • Maintain statistics as mandated.
    • Regular / periodic meetings with team for their achievements against their KPIs.
    Supervision, Control & Team Development
    • Maintain the TAT & Benchmarks set by the Company
    • Direction setting & Talent development of team
    • Identify training needs of team members.
    • Train, coach & guide the team.
    • Plan career path of team members.
    • Supervise, monitor & review performance of the team.

    • Insurance professional qualification of Associate / Fellowship highly preferred.
    • Should be proficient in reading / writing Marathi language.
