Job Description

    You will be responsible for providing technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This includes resolving issues promptly, driving improvements in stability, efficiency, and effectiveness to support the success of both the team and the business. Your role will involve managing, maintaining, and supporting environments with a focus on stability, quality, and functionality in alignment with service level expectations. You will also be involved in tasks such as start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, regional handover, documentation maintenance, risk assessment, and post-implementation analysis. Additionally, you will ensure storage and archiving procedures are operational, define operating standards, act as a liaison between users and technology groups, and provide guidance to lower-level analysts. Your role will require sound communication skills to exchange complex information effectively.Your qualifications should include 6 to 9 years of experience managing a Test Environment in a support role, including health checks and UAT support. Experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2 is essential. You should be capable of handling various components from multiple projects, performing version control, package promotion, preparing environments for UAT, and other release activities for production installation. The ability to work independently, analyze and solve technical issues, diagnose and address application problems, support client testing, track and report issues using tools, and plan and organize workload effectively are crucial for this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms to non-IT staff.
