Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Mechanical with Electrical Knowledge)Location: Saudi ArabiaQualifications:
• Education: Diploma or Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience: 3-9 years of experience in the plastics & compounding industry or any relevant manufacturing field, with a focus on mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
• Preferred Age Range: 23-35 years old.
• First Preference: Outgoing Mechanical Technicians with additional electrical knowledge.
• Second Preference: Mechanical Technicians with manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience from rubber or similar industries is also considered.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Mechanical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical systems related to machinery maintenance (preferred but not required).
• Problem-Solving: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve both mechanical and electrical issues.
• Pressure Handling: Skilled at working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
• Punctuality: Dependable, punctual, and maintains a professional work ethic.
• Adaptability: Quick to learn and adjust to new technologies and operational processes.
Responsibilities:
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery used in plastics compounding and recycling, with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Provide assistance with electrical maintenance tasks when required.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of production lines.
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance operations.
• Follow all safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve machinery efficiency and reduce production downtime.
Salary and Benefits:
• Salary: Negotiable, up to Rs. 157,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
