Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the man material hoist at a construction site in Pune. Your primary role will involve transporting personnel and materials to different levels while complying with all safety regulations and maintaining the equipment.Key Responsibilities:- Operate the man and material hoist following manufacturer guidelines.- Control the movement of the hoist for lifting workers, tools, and construction materials.- Ensure compliance with weight capacity limits to prevent overloading.- Maintain smooth operation to avoid sudden jerks or accidents.- Ensure workers wear proper safety gear before using the hoist.- Conduct daily safety checks on the hoist and follow site safety regulations.- Report any malfunctions or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.- Perform routine checks on the hoists motor, brakes, cables, and controls.- Keep a log of maintenance and inspections for safety audits.- Maintain clear communication with ground staff, crane operators, and site engineers.- Coordinate loading and unloading of materials and workers efficiently.Qualification Required:- 10th Pass or Equivalent (Preferred but not mandatory).- Valid Hoist Operator License/Certification (if required by local regulations).- Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating man material hoists in construction.- Strong understanding of hoist mechanics and controls.- Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency handling.- Good hand-eye coordination and reflexes.- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.- Physically fit to work in a construction site environment and comfortable working at heights.- Shift-based work, including extended hours during project deadlines.Additional Details:The work conditions include outdoor construction sites with exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. This role requires skills in maintenance & inspection, construction, hoist mechanics, emergency handling, hand-eye coordination, safety compliance, and effective communication & coordination with various stakeholders.,
