Job Description

    As a Man Material Hoist Operator in Pune, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently operate the hoist for transporting personnel and materials at different levels of a construction site. You must adhere to safety protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with site regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Operate the man and material hoist following manufacturer guidelines.- Control hoist movement for lifting workers, tools, and construction materials.- Adhere to weight capacity limits and prevent overloading.- Maintain smooth operation to avoid sudden jerks or accidents.Safety Compliance:- Ensure workers wear proper safety gear.- Conduct daily safety checks on the hoist.- Follow all site safety regulations and emergency procedures.- Report any malfunctions or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.Maintenance & Inspection:- Perform routine checks on hoist motor, brakes, cables, and controls.- Keep a maintenance and inspection log for safety audits.- Coordinate with maintenance teams for servicing and repairs.Communication & Coordination:- Maintain clear communication with ground staff, crane operators, and site engineers.- Use hand signals or radio communication for coordination.- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials and workers.Qualifications & Experience:- 10th Pass or Equivalent (Preferred).- Valid Hoist Operator License/Certification (if required).- Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating man material hoists in construction.Skills & Competencies:- Strong understanding of hoist mechanics and controls.- Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency handling.- Good hand-eye coordination and reflexes.- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Physical Requirements:- Physically fit to work in a construction site environment.- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.Work Conditions:- Outdoor construction sites with exposure to dust, noise, and weather.- Shift-based work, including extended hours during project deadlines.Please Note: The job requires skills in maintenance & inspection, construction, materials, hoist mechanics, checks, emergency handling, hand-eye coordination, safety compliance, ability to work under pressure, and communication & coordination.,
