The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in thermal management, system design optimization, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end HVAC development for automotive applications.This role involves ownership of concept-to-production HVAC development, ensuring thermal comfort, energy efficiency, performance reliability, and adherence to Indian automotive standards. The individual will drive cross-functional collaboration, evaluate system performance through simulations and calculations, and lead DFMEA and validation planning activities.Key Responsibilities
    • Lead end-to-end development of HVAC systems for commercial vehicles
    • Define HVAC system architecture, component requirements, and integration strategy
    • Conduct thermal load calculations, CFD simulations, airflow & performance analysis
    • Drive DFMEA, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
    • Develop validation plans and ensure component & system-level verification
    • Ensure compliance with automotive standards and regulatory frameworks
    • Collaborate with design, testing, CAE, vehicle integration & supplier teams
    • Evaluate new technologies for performance, cost, and efficiency improvements
    • Review prototype builds, manage test cycles, and ensure timely project execution
    • Mentor and guide engineering teams, lead technical reviews and design assessments
    Core Skills & Technical Expertise
    • HVAC system design & development for commercial vehicles
    • Thermal load calculation, performance modeling, CFD-based study
    • Airflow behavior analysis & system optimization
    • Strong knowledge of DFMEA, validation, root cause analysis & troubleshooting
    • Understanding of automotive standards, components & regulatory requirements
