Job descriptionRole & responsibilities1.Operational Oversight:
• Assist in managing daily operations of the manufacturing floor.
• Ensure that production processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards.
2.Team Management:
• Supervise and support production staff, including training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment with production goals.
• Address and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts.
3.Production Planning and Scheduling:
• Help develop and implement production schedules to meet demand.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics to prevent disruptions.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
4.Health and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Promote a safe working environment and address any safety concerns.
• Conduct regular safety training and audits.
5.Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Work with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Use data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
6.Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and review reports on production performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production processes, inventory, and quality control.
