Job Description

    Job Responsibilities: EMS NPD OfficerExperience - 2 to 7 years from Electronics Manufacturing with good hands on experience in Assembly and SMT production.
    • New Product Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive new product process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Verification and Validation: Perform verification of jigs, fixtures, ICT (In-Circuit Testing), FCT (Functional Circuit Testing), and Gerber files.
    • Feasibility Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies for SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) and assembly lines to ensure readiness for new products.
    • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project time plans, ensuring timely execution of tasks and milestones.
    • Project Documentation: Prepare and manage documentation for trials, including trial reports, observations, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFEMA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), PFC (Process Flow Chart), and SOPs.
    • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with various stakeholders and follow up on project-related activities to ensure alignment and progress.
    • Jig and Fixture Development: Oversee the development and implementation of jigs and fixtures needed for production.
    • Time Studies and Line Optimization: Conduct time studies for machine insertion, soldering, testing, manual operations, and line balancing.
    • Line Validation and Trials: Validate production lines and conduct sample production trials (PP1, PP2, PP3) to assess readiness for mass production.
    • Material Management: Arrange materials for new product development and ensure BOM (Bill of Materials) validation.
    • Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and upload necessary documents to the system for project tracking and compliance.
    • Programming Support: Assist the PE (Process Engineering) team with SMT, ICT, and FCT programming.
    • Prototype Development and Analysis:Prepare prototype samples and perform analysis to assess their performance and identify any required improvements.
