Job Description

    Job DescriptionRole Description As AWS Cloud Operations Engineer you will be working as technical support engineer for a portfolio of Digital Products using Serverless architecture Operational Support Hands on technical troubleshooting, issue investigations and resolution of Production incidents for AWS cloud-based applications Provide L2 and Preliminary L3 support for cloud-related incidents and problems, resolving issues on-time to minimize downtime Collaborate with the Cloud Operations Manager and other teams to resolved incidents and respond to stakeholders Cloud Infrastructure Management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements Monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability while identifying and addressing potential issues Deployment and Automation Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Terraform. CloudFormation, or equivalent Automate provisioning and deployment of cloud resources Maintain and fix CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates Monitoring and Optimization Monitor and analyze cloud resource usage patterns, identifying opportunities to optimize costs and resource allocation Collaborate with development teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance Documentation and Knowledge Sharing Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and runbooks Share knowledge and best practices with team members to promote continuous learning and improvementEducation & Experience University degree in Information technology, engineering or equivalent Minimum professional experience 3 years in supporting applications AWS Cloud services Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated servicesTechnical Skills Mandatory Troubleshooting issues in solutions implemented on AWS Cloud and Serverless Architecture Implement monitoring, alerting, and reporting of cloud Platform availability, and performance. In depth knowledge on Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail Experience with Infrastructure-as-code toolchain like AWS Cloud Formation/CDK/Terraform or similar AWS Key Services like IAM, Control Tower, Certificate Manager Strong hands-on knowledge on AWS services: RDS, S3, Cognito, Kubernetes Noce to have Good experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell Would be nice to have a strong understanding of IOT Concepts in AWS DevOps and agile ways of working with experience on ticketing tool JIRA (preferred), BMC Remedy, ServiceNow etc. Setting up & managing CI/CD toolchain like Gitlab (preferred), Jenkins or similar in large projects AWS Technical certifications - Solution Architect AssociateAt KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
