DescriptionAbout this position:We are eagerly seeking candidates to join our Performance and Capacity Team with 5 to 9 years, a crucial part of our infrastructure strategy. This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring cost-effective capacity management, optimizing the performance of critical business processes and services based on demand fluctuations.As a key player in our digital transformation efforts, the team helps shape infrastructure decisions, aligning with industry best practices and leveraging advanced technologies such as cloud computing, proactive monitoring, and predictive analytics. By continuously tracking our ability to meet the published Risk Appetite for performance and capacity across key systems, they ensure stability while preventing overprovisioning. Role: Performance and Capacity Specialist Location: Pune Experience: 5 to 9 years Job type: Full time Work type: HybridImpact you will realize: Job Responsibilities Assist in all performance engineering and capacity management activities to support the delivery of projects as well as BAU initiatives and processes Assist in developing CMIS proactive management products such as reports, dashboards and forecast models. Assist in day-to-day performance and capacity management activities of live services Essential functions Support the Performance and Capacity Team in the implementation of Repository, CMIS. Provide support in setting up and developing the performance and capacity monitoring and reporting requirements for applications and infrastructures hosted by CLIENT and/or third-party vendors Validate and communicate system characteristics and maximum capabilities in terms of both performance and capacity Analyze system behaviors and identify potential areas of concern regarding future stress/pinch points. Build an action plan for resolution Participate in the project life cycle _ rom business case to delivery in the production environment Assess any planned changes from projects, business or service demands for performance or capacity impact Co-author the bi-annual Corporate Capacity Plan and provide input to the IT Budget cycle. Participate in building a transparent view of IT cost for all business services.Key skills you will require:Primary Skills Currently holds or has previously held a similar position Some experience and knowledge in Performance and Capacity management within a business-critical global Banking, Financial Services and/or Technology environment is essential Able to work independently, as required Success Factors Risk Management Takes personal responsibility and accountability for solving P&C related issues in order to meet organizational standards Identifies and appropriately manages/escalates potential risks Assist business partners with their identification of process / control related issues Judgment and Decision Making Makes impactful decisions within a function, producing positive or negative effect for efficiencies, delays and contribute to financial gain or expense Contributes significantly to achieving cross-functional, consensus driven decisions by engaging and influencing others Work Complexity and Innovation Manages work guided by established policies; and regularly establishes new procedures and policies as required.
