Job Description

We are looking for a dependablePharmacy Technicianthat will process and fill prescriptions. You will also undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.As a pharmacy technician you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers.ResponsibilitiesSterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for openingGreet customers and answer questionsReceive prescriptions and check their validityProcess prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurateResolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptionsSort, stock, label medication and monitor inventoryUndertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assignedComply with all security measures and quality standardsRequirements and skillsProven experience as pharmacy technicianExperience with an online prescription system is a plusKnowledge of medication and dosage measurementKnowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminologyExcellent communication and customer service skillsOutstanding organizational skillsReliable with a keen eye for detailSuccessful completion of a pharmacy technician programCertified Pharmacy technician is an assetany interested Applicants are expected to sumit their updated resume to hidden_email
