Lead/Sr.Piping Engineer Sub Function Not ApplicableBusiness / Performance Unit PBEN Division PBENFunction Piping Engineering Location Praj TowerLevel / Band Grade MJob Purpose To work with engineering, process and execution team and ensure smooth execution of piping engineeringdeliverables aligned to the Business Units objectives. To ensure error free, cost effective design and on timepiping deliverables.Educational Qualifications BE/B-Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering with P.G.Diploma in Piping Engineering.Experience 15-20 yearsKey Job Success factors (Key Responsibilities)1.Undertake Internal work order /contract review and requirements for piping engineering and ensuredesign basis in line with process and project parameters. 2.Ensure design, drawing, documents and detail engineering activities are completed on schedule and in linewith Prajs Quality management System. 3.Ensure piping design to full file process, project and O&M requirements. 4.Manage bottle-neck and project risk related to piping. 5.Manage and maintain healthy relationships with stakeholders like customer, vendor, consultant, project execution team for smooth execution of project. 6.Oversee closure of all Technical Queries Request TQR, Design Change Request DCR, Field Change RequestFCR. 7.Have to prepare piping design and layout considering industrial Norms, process, execution and O&Mrequirements. 8.Conduct 3D-model review with internal teams and with Client/consultant. 9.Plan and schedule piping activities and deliverables. 10.Review and check piping design, drawings and documents (like Equipment layout, nozzle orientations,stress analysisreport, isometrics, IBR drawings, pipe support drawings, piping BOM, and GA drawings etc.) inline with process, execution and O&M need. 11.Piping Design Basis preparation & Work Allocation to assigned engineers & Modeler as per execution planOther Responsibilities 1.Enhance skills of 2D & 3D designers & modelers by guiding & training. 2.Shall participate in internal drawings/model review and ensure compliance to design documents & processrequirements. 3.Address & report important technical / execution matters to superior 4. Man Hrs. Estimation, Piping Activity Planning for project execution & preparation of DDI for PipingDeliverablesTechnical Competencies 1.Shall be having working experience in water and waste treatment, ZLD/MVR plants. 2.Shall be aware of procedures of checking piping documents/drawings. 3.Understanding of IWO and Contract, Risk management, Change management. 4.Technical knowledge in the field of Piping Engineering applicable to various industries segments.5.Knowledge of Design Codes (ASME, DIN,IS,EN), Standards & Regulations. 6.Conversant with piping components & dimensions / material standards. 7.Understanding of other engineering disciplines (civil, structure, instrumentation, static / rotary equipment& packages) 8.Conversant with Hygienic Piping & Stress Analysis. 9.Knowledge of ACAD, 3D plant engineering and piping software, Microsoft office (Word, Excel and MSProject) 10. Knowledge of admin of piping software like Plant-3D and E3D.Knowledge and Skills 1.Good team player and leader to handle piping engineers, designers and modelers team.2.Expertise in piping of water and waste water treatment plant and Evaporation plant (ZLD/MVR).3.Good written & Oral communication skills.4.Expertise to use CAD Software like AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS, E3D etcWATER TREATMENT INSUATRIES ONLY CAN APPLYhidden_mobileWALK IN FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW AT VADODARA GUJRAT
