DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in database design and architecture to support products in engineering. Design and Development of SQL, PL/ SQL code for Application features and bug fixes. Prepare design specifications and functional documentation for project. Identify any issues related to Database and Application performance and provide practical optimized solutions. Application code review for optimal performance. Tune Complex sql queries in VLDB. Ensure data quality and integrity of database. Troubleshoot application issues. Evaluate database vendors and big data technologies as per need. Qualifications: 8 years of extensive development experience in Oracle. Must have good understanding of 11g and 12c database architecture. Sound experience in SQL and PL/ SQL programming , must be confident in building Complex Query and Transformation Logic using oracle advance features. Extensive experience in database design of complex applications and performance tuning. Sound Understanding of OLTP and Warehousing system design concepts. Ability to document and implement database architectures and operational procedures. Must have very good problem-solving and Analytical skills. Good understanding of oracle data dictionary views. Database administration or development experience in VLDB is big plus. Knowledge of microservices Architecture, Elastic Search, Cassandra, Kafka, Redis added advantage.
