Job Description

    Support the team lead in monitoring and executing day to day document controller and engineering data queries and activities.Maintaining strong relationships with business partners in different function, offshore engineers & document controller.Ensure document data is consistent with the tag register data.Quality assurance of tag numbers from engineering documents.Ensure timely completion and accuracy of document controls in ALIM.Quality assurance and populating of technical and mandatory attributes with respect to tag numbers from documents.Suggestion of new tag numbers missing in tag register from engineering documentsSuggestion of new classes for classifying different tag numbers.Tagging right documents references in tag register.Ensure data input is consistent with the data standards and meets the required levels of completeness.Run performance reports for the key quality measures of completeness, consistency, uniqueness, and accuracy.Generate and analyze Data monthly performance reports/statistics for key quality measures of completeness, consistency, efficiency, and accuracy.Identify and implement process and solution requirements for the master data management process.Regularly track and resolve outstanding master data management issues. Based on agreed trigger points, further escalate to higher levels of authority for solution or direction and feedback.Identify and contribute to the improvement of defective trends or areas of process performance weakness in the end-to-end process.Skills:Bachelor s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation)7 years of work experience in document controller, engineering data and in managing a client-service oriented function with experience in management of large corporate initiatives/projects, strategic thinking, relationship management and processes.Direct process management experience including best practices, driving innovation, continuous improvement, technologies, processes, procedures, and tools.Experience in JDE, ALIM, Sales Force, Hazid Tool, SAP or other CRM systems preferred.Ability to analyze raw data/input images, drawing conclusions and developing recommendations.Knowledge on MRO spares, Oil & Gas Equipment, and spare partsItem identification, classification coding, usage of parametric data (attributes), application of standardsExperience in Oil and Gas Industry is an added advantage.Enrichment: Searching part from the manufacturer website and extract the required information.Cleansing & normalize the extracted data & update it in the client approved template.Exposure to UNSPSC, taxonomy creation, schema mapping and defining attribute structure.Experience of working cross culturally and in an international environment.Ability to communicate and influence across various levels in the organization.Engaging and collaborative way of workingResilient and experienc,
