Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains project data base and backing up data.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with all necessary regulations like Schedule M, GMP compliance.
  • Identify the risk associated with project and drive its mitigation in all sense.
  • Active member of identify and selecting the appropriate equipment supplier, contract for allied project activities
  • Manage project staff and/or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the organization
  • Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the project
  • Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor in Bachelors/ Masters degree in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering, or Materials Management, or Statistics, or Operations Research, oral lied field. Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Science. Both Bachelor s and Master s degrees must be full-time. Overall 12-15 years of experience in pharma green field project.
  • Should Experience in MNC in Pharma/Biotech, Chemical, Food or related process industry is desirable. Knowledge of GMP guidelines in Pharma/Biotech industry will be a big plus.
  • Analytical bent, with excellent engineering knowledge of equipment s, suppliers/vendor base and consultant.
  • Candidate should be excellent Influencing Skills and Attention to details. Strong Multi-tasking skills. Should be good in knowledge on MS excel, Collaboration skills, Self-starter should be fluent in English.
