Job Description

1) Knowledge about all types of material / products / equipments required in construction2) Procurement Planning - Coordinate with site engineer, Project Head, accounts dept & various vendors so that required material will reach at site at desired date3) Vendor Management - To have multiple vendors for multiple range of products and to take care of smooth business relations with all the vendors4) Negotiation - One should have good negotiation skills in terms of cost, payment schedule, addon benefits, AMCs, loading, unloading and other charges5) Quality Assurance - Having a good knowledge of product will help to procure good quality product6) Cost control & Analysis - Procurement of any material within the budget assigned and as per market prevailing rates.7) Inventory Management - Overstock or understock of any material should not be done8) Documentation & Compliances - Preparation of purchase orders, work order, inventory list, outstanding payment chart, keeping records of all the warrantys- guarantees and AMC s9) Data Analysis, Smart way of procurement with the help of various online portals, open to attend various exhibitions
