    Location: Pune, Maharashtra Industry: Manufacturing Experience: 3 to 5 Years Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering Salary: As per experience and interview Employment Type: Full-timeJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Purchase Engineer to handle procurement, vendor development and supplier coordination for engineering manufacturing requirements.Key Responsibilities
    • Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
    • Source engineering components, raw materials and bought-out items.
    • Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors and suppliers.
    • Float RFQs, collect quotations and prepare comparative statements.
    • Negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
    • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
    • Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
    • Read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
    • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality and Stores departments.
    • Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality and delivery.
    • Develop alternate suppliers for critical components.
    • Handle procurement of machined components, fabricated parts, sheet-metal components, fasteners and bought-out items.
    • Maintain purchase records, supplier information and procurement reports.
    • Work on ERP systems and MS Excel for purchase-related activities.
