From the moment a seed is planted through to harvest, crops need to be protected from weeds, insects and diseases as well as droughts and floods, heat and cold.Syngenta Crop Protection is headquartered in Switzerland.Job DescriptionRole purpose Ensure customer on-time delivery for a given portfolio, (both within and outside EAME), via seamless E2E communication throughout the Supply Chain (AI Planners, regional and country commercial functions, EAME sites, customer service, distribution). To create and maintain the overall AI & FF&P supply plan across AMEA region for assigned portfolio, providing options to meet variances in demand and supply. Ensure efficient use of Inventory (both regional and international), maintaining agreed customer service levels, whilst minimizing working capital Clearly communicate constrains in the supply chain via tier meetings processes and implement alternative solutions via Syngenta processes and understand customer constraints and issues through planning role in order to co-ordinate actions through portfolio planners to ensure country requirements are metAccountabilities Maintain balance of overall supply/demand requirements for their portfolio (3-27 months horizon) as well aligning and supporting asset planners in the short-term horizon (0-3 months horizon). Challenging commercial units (receiving countries) and third party demands, sales forecasts & demand uncertainty as the owner accountable for the full 27 months horizon. Plan all products within their portfolio according to Global and AMEA Planning processes and policies. Manage the monthly Requirements & Operations Planning (ROP) meeting with the Production sites for assigned portfolio, Work in partnership with Supply Chain managers, Global planners, Asset planners and Demand Managers to ensure the optimization of demand/supply as well inventory throughout the regional supply chain (AI, raw materials, bulk and finished products), managing the trade-off between Customer service, Inventory investment and Production efficiency Review requirements in SAP/APO for assigned portfolio/AIs and ensure that it is up to date. Follow up with IMCs on purchase orders/ production orders for finished packs/ Intermediate; place Tolling POs to Toller according to production plan and/or against demand POs. Review of SAP/APO master data with country planners periodically and ensure timely update of changes, including efficient introduction and removal of products (SKUs) according to the Range Management Process. Act as SME (System and process) for assigned planning process for AMEAQualificationsCritical knowledge & experience At least 2-5 years exposure in a Supply Chain and/or Planning environment Experience of the key interfaces within a Supply Chain Planning parameters, master data management and data integrity Understanding of supply chain planning MRPII principlesCritical technical, professional and personal capabilities Good communication and interpersonal skills Customer Focus and attention to detail SAP, APO & BW knowledge Good Team PlayerCritical leadership capabilities Ability to work across functions, cultures and geographies Proactive and innovative resolution of issues, action oriented and delivery focused; maintain under pressure Effective stakeholder and expectation management Sense of urgency with ability to prioritise work, and quickly manage changes Ownership of issues to completion Manages change and holds ambiguity Focuses on customersAdditional Information Comfortable working in open-plan office environment Some short overseas travel,
