Job Description

    Job Title: Sales EngineerDepartment: Sales & EstimationReports To: Sales ManagerExperience Required: 1 to 3 years in sales for electrical switchgear or panel manufacturing industryIndustry: Electrical Switchgear / Panel ManufacturingTentative Budget: 3 to 4.5 LPAJob SummaryThe Sales Engg. is responsible for generating business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets forelectrical switchgear and panel manufacturing products. The role includes customer coordination, inquiry handling, quotation follow-ups,market development, and supporting sales activities for LV/MV electrical solutions.Key Responsibilities
    • Generate new business opportunities for electrical switchgear and panel products.
    • Handle customer inquiries related to LT Panels, MCC Panels, PCC Panels, APFC Panels, and other electrical solutions.
    • Coordinate with estimation and design teams for technical and commercial quotations.
    • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, approvals, and orders.
    • Maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and industries.
    • Conduct client visits, meetings, and product presentations.
    • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
    • Support payment follow-ups and order execution coordination.
    • Maintain sales reports, customer database, and inquiry records.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
    • Ensure proper communication between customers and internal departments.
    • Promote company products and services in the industrial and commercial market.
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or business development.
    • Experience in electrical, industrial, or engineering industry preferred.
    Required Skills
    • Basic knowledge of electrical switchgear and panel manufacturing industry.
    • Good communication and customer handling skills.
    • Ability to coordinate with technical and estimation teams.
    • Knowledge of sales follow-up and quotation process.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
    • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
    • Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
