Job Description

    Job Title: Sales EngineerLocation: Wagholi, PuneExperience: 3 to 6 years in relevant industrial/automation salesEducation: BE /B Tech in Mechanical EngineeringCompensation: Up to 6 LPA (based on experience & performance)Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, manufacturing clients, and system integrators.
    • Understand client requirements and suggest appropriate automation products/solutions.
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products/services to prospective clients.
    • Work closely with the design and technical team to offer custom solutions.
    • Create cost estimates, commercial proposals, and techno-commercial offers.
    • Handle negotiations and close sales orders.
    • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and report sales activity to management.
    • Attend industry expos, technical meetings, and customer visits for lead generation and relationship building.
    • Provide after-sales support and build long-term customer relationships.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation sales, especially in SPMs, robots, jigs & fixtures, or motion control systems.
    • Strong understanding of technical drawings and mechanical design.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic CAD understanding is preferred.
    • Local market knowledge in Pune and surrounding industrial areas is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel for client visits, site evaluations, and product demos.
