Job Description

    Job Overview:The Sales Manager in our company (fruit pulp industry) will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function, driving revenue growth, and building strong customer relationships. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the fruit pulp market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential challenges.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Team Leadership
    Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Build a high-performing sales team through recruitment, training, and performance management.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales department.
    • Customer Relationship Management:
    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    Product Knowledge:
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fruit pulp products, market specifications, and industry standards.
    • Stay informed about competitor products and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Provide product training and updates to the sales team.
    Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Develop accurate sales forecasts and monitor sales performance against targets.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales metrics, market trends, and competitor activities.
    • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    Contract Negotiation and Pricing:
    • Lead contract negotiation processes with clients and distributors.
    • Establish pricing strategies based on market conditions, production costs, and profitability goals.
    • Ensure adherence to pricing policies and terms.
    Collaboration with Other Departments:
    • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
    • Work closely with marketing to develop promotional strategies and materials.
    • Provide insights to senior management for product development and improvement.
    Compliance and Ethics:
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and ethical business practices.
    • Uphold the companys values and reputation in all business dealings.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
    • Proven experience (6 years) in a senior sales management role within the fruit pulp or related industry.
    • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of the fruit pulp market, including key players and market dynamics.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
