Job Description

    As a Tech Lead at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a team of skilled engineers while driving the technical direction of our backend systems to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Here is what you can expect in this role:**Role Overview:**In this role, you will be responsible for owning the overall architecture and design of our systems, ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security. You will be hands-on in technologies such as Ruby, Python, SQL, NoSQL, and event-based systems, with a focus on building highly scalable complex distributed systems. Additionally, you will mentor and guide engineers on technical best practices and career development, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.**Key Responsibilities:**- Own the architecture and design of systems for scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.- Be hands-on in Ruby, Python, SQL, NoSQL, and event-based systems.- Mentor and guide engineers on technical best practices and career development.- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.- Lead and motivate a high-performing team of engineers.- Monitor system performance, resolve issues proactively, and maintain robust monitoring systems.- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential application to products.- Drive the adoption of AI/ML solutions to enhance product features.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development.- At least 1 year of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, preferably Ruby or Python.- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- Proactive hiring mindset to achieve business goals.In addition to these responsibilities and qualifications, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with total freedom and authority, an open and inclusive culture, and great compensation and ESOPS.,
