Position - Sr. DevOps. Engineer Years of experience: 6-8 years Location - Sangamvadi, Pune Position Description: An intermediate role between Development and Cloud Operations. Responsible for release management, creation and maintenance of CI tools, and CD automation for both infrastructure and the SaaS application. Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement a best-of-breed CI/CD pipeline. Automation of typical development/test/release processes, infrastructure setup, and SaaS application management. Design and implement best of breed monitoring and operational management systems. Design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure and tools for CI/CD stack as well operational environments. Define and maintain the branching strategy. Facilitate the release management process. Qualifications B.S. degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related degree. Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written with the ability to converse effectively at all levels within the organization. Python or Bash Script experience is mandatory. 5 years of experience in managing cloud/on premise infrastructure. 5 years of experience in DevOps roles and with CI/CD technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet/Chef/Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes etc.). Strong team collaborative skills and background. Experience with cloud services and automation, AWS preferred. Strong knowledge of configuration management tools, Git preferred. Experience with a highly available and scalable SaaS solution. Experience working in an agile environment, Scrum preferred. A self-driven individual who can take general directions and objectives and drive them towards successful project delivery. AWS Certification is a plus.
