Job Description

    Experience Required: Min 6 Years in Construction (Commercial, Residential, Industrial) (No Infra)Qualification: Diploma / Degree (Civil)Salary : up to 12LKey Responsibilities
    • Possess strong knowledge of methodologies for various site work activities, QA/QC plans, RCC drawing study, IS codes, material testing procedures, and material test acceptance criteria.
    • Have a strong understanding of NCR/NC management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA), concrete mix design, and repair work methodologies.
    • Understand ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements and audit processes, formwork design and formwork systems, and in-process quality control plans.
    • Conduct Quality Kick-Off Meetings to understand customer requirements, identify risks associated with each activity, and prepare action plans to mitigate identified risks.
    • Review and understand site logistics arrangements with respect to quality requirements and project-specific infrastructure.
    • Prepare the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and obtain approval from the QA/QC Head and Project Manager.
    • Ensure the availability and adequacy of basic infrastructure for the laboratory and testing equipment at the project site.
    • Review project-specific work procedures and checklists prepared by the QA/QC Engineer.
    • Participate in meetings to communicate work methodologies, Material Testing Plans (MTP), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) to the execution team in line with tender document quality requirements.
    • Track and monitor all client handover deadlines related to quality requirements.
    • Conduct regular site visits as per the predefined frequency to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved work procedures and checklists.
    • Review the Material Testing Plan (MTP), inspection reports, and test results, and discuss further actions with the QA/QC Head and Project Manager.
    • In case of Non-Conformity (NC) related to materials or construction activities, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and prepare Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA).
    • Evaluate and test new products, equipment, and construction methodologies based on project feasibility and compare results with existing practices.
    • Discuss test results with the QA/QC Head, evaluate cost-effectiveness, benefits, and overall impact, and submit recommendations to management.
    • Drive initiatives to reduce rejection rates and minimize rework costs across projects.
    • Ensure proper documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Procedures SJCPL-QAC-PR-02 (IMS Procedure for QA/QC Department).
    Quality Reports & Documentation
    • Prepare and maintain Rework Cost Reports.
    • Prepare NC Percentage Analysis Reports.
    • Prepare Monthly Project Quality Performance Reports.
    • Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MOM) for customer meetings related to quality issues.
    • Prepare and communicate Scope of Improvement Reports to the site team through email.
    • Maintain all required quality-related records and documentation as per the project and ISO requirements.
