Job Description

    On a typical day at XPO India Shared Services, you will be responsible for various technical tasks and ensuring that teams are functioning effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:- Coordinating technical tasks and overseeing the development/support of specific IT areas and systems, ensuring timely project delivery.- Contributing to defining new business requirements, identifying risks, and proposing new tools and frameworks for faster product delivery.- Acting as a liaison between project management, technical teams, and IT leadership to drive consistency and best practices.- Managing all aspects of coding for the team, including branching, code review, continuous integration, and ensuring code reusability and maintainability.- Creating technical integration designs that meet functional and performance requirements.- Mentoring developers, resolving technical roadblocks, conducting collaborative code reviews, and coordinating software solution deployment.- Developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment.- Being available for production application deployment and troubleshooting off-hours or on an on-call basis.To succeed at XPO, you will need:- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline.- At least 5 years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced environment.- Demonstrated experience in a technical lead role for at least 3 years.- Advanced knowledge of IT software development methodologies, agile environments, and Scrum methodologies.- Proficiency in full-stack software development with expertise in Java, Angular, J2EE, and related technologies.- Experience with client-side UI frameworks like Angular 14 and above, SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and distributed data services.- Knowledge of web services development, asynchronous messaging frameworks, and SOA design patterns.- Familiarity with tools like WSO2 API manager, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), TeamCity, SVN, and GIT for CI/CD configurations.- Understanding of DevOps concepts, testing automation, TDD, and production support activities.- Experience in the transportation and logistics industry would be desirable.Join XPO and be part of something big.,
