Job Description

    As a Level 4 Security Technology Specialist at Gruve, your role will involve utilizing your expertise in security technologies to lead and manage various security-related projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with customers, optimizing project processes, developing Statements of Work (SoWs), managing resources effectively, and ensuring compliance with ITIL processes. Heres a breakdown of your key responsibilities:- **Security Technology Expertise**: - Understand the internal workings of security products such as firewalls, IPS, IDS, EDR, SASE, WAF, NAC, and Cloud Security solutions. - Implement, manage, and optimize a range of security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions. - Stay updated with the latest security trends and technology advancements to ensure robust security measures.- **Project Management**: - Lead security-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. - Develop project plans, allocate resources, monitor project progress, and manage SLAs. - Conduct regular customer discussions, organize Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and ensure alignment with customer business objectives.- **Project Optimization**: - Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within security projects. - Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency. - Manage escalations from customers and critical issues related to project management.- **Customer Collaboration**: - Work closely with customers to understand their security needs and requirements. - Provide expert advice and solutions to improve and streamline security processes. - Conduct regular meetings and updates to ensure customer satisfaction.- **Documentation And Reporting**: - Maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes, configurations, and project progress. - Prepare and present detailed reports on security status, project milestones, and optimization results to stakeholders. - Prepare and present various reports like WSR, MSR, QBRs, CIP, and SIP for the projects under management.Your qualifications for this role should include:- BE/BTech, MCA, or MSC degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.- Minimum of 10 years of experience in security technology management and project management.- Strong knowledge of various security technologies and best practices.- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent are highly desirable.At Gruve, we offer a dynamic environment where you can leverage your skills to transform enterprises into AI powerhouses.
