Job Description

    Role: Senior Java Developer / Lead Engineer Kafka & Messaging SystemsWork Mode: HybridExperience8 years in Java-based backend development with strong experience in Kafka and Messaging Queues (MQ)Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with deep expertise in Apache Kafka and Messaging Systems (IBM MQ / ActiveMQ / RabbitMQ) to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and resilient distributed systems. The candidate will play a key role in architecture, development, and mentoring junior engineers.Key Responsibilities
    • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services using Java (Java 8)
    • Build and manage event-driven and message-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
    • Develop and support messaging solutions using MQ systems (IBM MQ / ActiveMQ / RabbitMQ)
    • Implement Kafka producers, consumers, streams, and handle partitioning, offsets, and rebalancing
    • Ensure message reliability, fault tolerance, idempotency, and exactly-once/at-least-once delivery
    • Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput
    • Design RESTful APIs and integrate with downstream/upstream systems
    • Handle transaction management, concurrency, multithreading, and memory optimization
    • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on system design and technical decisions
    • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
    • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
    • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and coding standards
