The ideal candidate should have a strongbackground in Software Testing, with specific expertise in Cypress, JavaScript,NodeJS, TestRail, Postman, Jira, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, ManualTesting, Smoke Testing, SDLC, Test Case Writing, STLC, Eclipse, and UserAcceptance Testing.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand projectrequirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for bothmanual and automated testing.Utilize Cypress, JavaScript, and NodeJS for effective automation of testcases.Perform functional testing, regression testing, and smoke testing toensure the stability and reliability of. software products.Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) toidentify and address quality assurance aspects.Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholdersto ensure a high level of product quality.Utilize TestRail for test case management and reporting.Employ Postman for API testing and validation.Log and track defects using Jira, providing detailed information forefficient issue resolution.Contribute to the creation and improvement of testing processes andmethodologies.Participate actively in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure alignmentwith business requirements.QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4 years of proven experience in Software Testing with a focus onCypress.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS.Experience with TestRail for test case management.Familiarity with Postman for API testing.Proficient in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.Solid understanding of functional testing, regression testing, and manualtesting.Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.Experience with Eclipse for code development.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Skills: cypress,nodejs,testrail,jira,eclipse,javascript,postman,stlc,sdlc,manual testing,test scripts,smoke testing,test plans,api testing,software development life cycle,api testing and validation,
