Job Description

    Client responsibilitiesAct as the technical expert ensuring quick turnaround in identifying applicationissues and providing timely solutionsDevelop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build systemtesting and implementation phases of projectTransform business function requirements into technical program specs to codetest and debug programsDevelop code document and execute unit tests systems integration andacceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexityPerform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functionsEngage other technical team members in the design delivery and deployment ofsolutionsEnsure integration system activities including monitoring the technicalarchitecture particularly scalability availability and archiving meet all SLAsManage operational support performing work during change windows as wellas providing on call support as required by the teamUndertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activitiesMentor and coach junior developer resourcesProvide consulting services on new and existing initiativesRequirementsMinimum of 8 years of ABAP experienceStrong object orientation experienceGateway developmentHANA Exposure desirableStrong communication skillsStrong analytical skills and ability to write technical specificationsThe following are considered strong assets Retail industry experience HCP orConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practicesPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsStay updated with SAP technologies and trends 5Required Skills QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science or related field5 years in SAP ABAP development with leadership experienceStrong understanding of SAP ECC IDoc BAPI Smart Forms ALV Reports and Enhancement FrameworkProficiency in debugging performance tuning and objectoriented programmingExcellent communication and leadership skillsJava experience as well as the ability to write functional specificationsAbility to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same timeAbility to work in a team environment effectively interacting with othersAbility to understand business processes from a customer perspectiveStrong academic record including a degree in Computer Science Business or other related fieldMust be results oriented and demonstrate a cando attitude adaptability flexibility and resourcefulness
