Job Description

    Title:Sr. Design Engineer (Mechanical Background)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and optimizing structural designs, sheet metal components, and technical drawings using tools such asAutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and proficiency in CAD drafting, with a focus on accuracy and functionality.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development:Develop structural designs and sheet metal componentsbased on project requirements.Create 2D and 3D modelsfor prototypes and production using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Drafting and Documentation:Prepare detailed technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).Maintain accurate records of designs, revisions, and specifications.Qualifications:Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience insheet metal design, structural drawings, and drafting.Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and structural analysis principles.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred Skills:Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
