What you will doYou will be a key contributor to the design, development and implementation of Test automation for large scale, mission critical, building automation applications & tools development. This position will focus on new development of test automation modules & tools to ease system testing as well as maintenance and stewardship of existing modules. This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with a team of engineers to design and develop robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.We re a collaborative bunch, so you ll contribute to all phases of the SDLC, from planning, development, testing and releaseYou will work closely with Scrum teams to deliver products on time with qualityYou ll also coordinate with the Architect s to understand and maintain an in-depth understanding of the current and upcoming requirements for proposed releasesWe work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to timeHow you will do itYou should be hands-on working closely with your peers in software development, testing, and Architects in the company to deliver best of breed solutions with your technical expertise. You will be responsible for below critical functions in helping us design leading productsThe most desirable candidate would be a software developer with automation experience who can develop tools and automation script to ease system testing with software development skillsThis is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Engineer to technically lead in expanding the automation infrastructure for our product portfolioSupport software engineering development of complex projects; Deliver engineering tasks at the project level; Organizes engineering work in a logical manner.Able to meet project plans for tools development and test automation activity of a project; prioritizing work to accomplish demanding changes.Automation of existing test plans, support of existing tools, and creation of new tools as needed. Develops and articulate automation plans for complex systems. Presents or makes recommendations on technical automation issues.The candidate should be very enthusiastic, self-motivated and a fast learner.Continuously improve processes and proceduresAble to co-ordinate and work in global team environmentStays abreast of technology developments and their potential impact and opportunities on the organization.Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to the automation engineering process.Applied expertise in continuous-integration and continuous-deployment models.Must be aware and able to work in Agile, Incremental or spiral development methodologyEnsuring defects are raised and reviewed on a regular basis in the required timeframeMentor junior team membersWhat we look forRequiredBE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCAMust have 5+ years related experience in automation & development activities with at least 2+ years development with Java, C, C++.Experience with from scratch tools development to ease system/unit testingExperience with firmware developmentExperience with JavaScript for web-based automationUnderstands MS Windows GUIUnderstands all testing methodologiesExperience with Team Foundation Server, Git or equivalentFamiliar with troubleshooting in a MS Windows environmentAbility to work exceptionally effectively in a team environment is required.Familiar with Automated deploymentSelf-motivation, tenacity, flexible and reliable in approach to workPreferredWorking knowledge in iOT domain and Building Automation domain.Working Knowledge of Selenium with Java and Appium framework.Knowledge of scripting language, automation tools and frameworks.Knowledge of application deployment at App Store and Play Store.Working experience in DevOps environment.,
